A New Thing

1. YOUR NEW THING WILL REQUIRE A RENEWED YOU.

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭17 (NLT)

2. IN ORDER TO SEE THE NEW, YOU HAVE TO FORGET THE OLD.

“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.”

Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬ (NLT)

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭19‬ (NLT)

3. FAITH WILL MAKE YOU LOOK FORWARD.

“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead...”

Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬ (NLT)
